Welcome to Hoverson Farms. Our headquarters are located 3 miles north of Larimore at Intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and North Dakota Highway 18.
Carl Hoverson started raising potatoes in 1981 with just 40 acres. Now they have expanded to 5,100 acres of potatoes on 20,000 acres of land in 2011, a figure that held constant for the past five years. That is why Carl is known around the area as Mr. Spud. The farm employs 42 people full-time.
“You have to have a good solid crew to make this whole thing work,” Carl Hoverson says. They have to have as much dedication as I do. It’s fun to work with people who are enthused about what they are doing.
