Welcome to Hoverson Farms. Our headquarters are located 3 miles north of  Larimore at Intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and North Dakota Highway 18.

Carl Hoverson started raising potatoes in 1981 with just 40 acres. Now they have expanded to 4,500 acres of potatoes on 13,000 acres of land in 1997, a figure that’s held constant for the past five years. That’s why Carl is known around the area as “Mr. Spud”. The farm employs 26 people full-time.

“You have to have a good solid crew to make this whole thing work,” Hoverson says.  “They have to have as much dedication as I do.  It’s fun to work with people who are enthused about what they’re doing.”
